Status monitoring has never been simpler — no more dedicated FSK infrastructure and costly headend equipment is needed. Tollgrade’s newest HFC monitoring solution leverages your existing DOCSIS infrastructure to provide status information on power supply and end-of-line transponder test points over the shared, revenue-generating infrastructure.

Cable operators are able to remotely monitor and test stand-by power supplies using the Cheetah DOCSIS-based Power Supply Monitoring Solution, pinpointing the location and cause of problems, and often identifying degrading equipment before failure. Resources can be ainimizing or preventing network outages.

Tollgrade’s DOCSIS-based transponders have been designed to monitor power supplies from several leading vendors using an analog interface and/or the status monitoring standards developed by the SCTE-HMS subcommittee.
